Faith Project International

I would endorse Faith Project International as a wonderful opportunity for mission teams to serve the needs of people in specific communities in Guatemala. I have served on two teams in the past two years, one of which I was the leader.  Brad and Christina Cowherd of Faith Project were very helpful in assisting me with the necessary information for the team's travel and guided me easily through the preparation steps of getting the team to Guatemala. Once in Guatemala, Faith Project very effectively provided safe transportation, housing and meals for the team members. Nightly devotional and discussion times were wonderful times of spiritual growth for team members that Brad and Christina were instrumental in leading. My job as the team leader was effortless due to their effective leadership. I was impressed with the staff which assisted them care for the team. In addition the ongoing case workers who have regular contact with the Guatemalan communities there were compassionate yet knowledgeable and strong ambassadors for the people.

Faith Project has been a wonderful opportunity for people to grow in their faith,grow in their understanding of the needs of other countries and grow as individuals working outside of their comfort zone in a different culture. In a world that tends to be too self focused it is ministries such as Faith Project that create bridges that binds the world together. I am grateful for my experience with Faith Project and would enthusiastically recommend this opportunity to other organizations and groups.
